Drawing as Slow Conversation.

Between November 25th and December 20th 2024 Louise Adkins and Benjamin Jenner will be artists in residence at The Writers’ Room, London. Adkins and Jenner will use this opportunity to continue their extralinguistic dialogue, entitled Drawing as Slow Conversation. The artists will engage the specificity of the space—a small room at the rear of an old church—as a generative constraint, scripting a conversation caught between habitation, movement, gesture, memory and recall. The resultant lexicon will be shared with guests via readings, actions, and drawings on the 04th-05th January 2025.
